This Thursday was the day before exams began, and Liz's first exam was to be at eight o'clock on Friday morning. This eight o'clock exam was her organic chemistry final, and it was comprehensive over not one, but two semesters. She was quite intimidated. So she decided to read Ephesians 6:10-19, which is about the armor of God and such goodness.
"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere." --Ephesians 6:18
She decided to write this on her dry erase board outside her door so that other people could read it and be encouraged. After doing this, however, she noticed that she had failed to prop her door open. And she didn't have her keys. And her RD and RA were nowhere to be found. And, worst of all, she was not wearing shoes. While Liz very much enjoyed being barefoot, she did not like walking around in her dorm without shoes. Outside was okay; in the dorm was not. Just accept this.
So Liz had to walk downstairs-- barefoot --to Allison, Amber, and Aly's room, and we all know this is pretty much never productive. The end.
(I promise I won't write in third-person all of the time. However, if you didn't enjoy this bit, you should probably not read this blog, because it's not going to get any better.)
